To keep Anthony Joshua from suffering any further injuries, it has been suggested that he RETIRE from boxing.
After AJ’s catastrophic fifth-round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley in September, his career has been in ruins.

Anthony Joshua has been urged to retire.
Before a vicious right punch finished it all, Joshua had been knocked down four times. A faster finish is anticipated in a rematch, according to boxing legend Barry McGuigan, whose son Shane used to teach Dubois. “I honestly believe it happens sooner in the rematch if Anthony has a rematch with Dubois,” McGuigan told Seconds Out.
“I think Dubious will knock him out earlier in the fight.”
With a date already scheduled for February in Saudi Arabia, Oshua, 35, appeared certain to rematch Dubois, 27. However, his promoter Eddie Hearn has since disclosed that AJ is battling ailments sustained in the first fight, which could jeopardize their rematch.
Joshua may instead try to make a comeback by May and may decide to hold off on fighting Tyson Fury, 36, who rematches Oleksandr Usyk, 37, on December 21. However, McGuigan, a former featherweight world champion, advised AJ to put his gloves away and take pleasure in his hard-earned victory.
He said: “Anthony is an incredible fighter, he’s had incredible success. I think he should get out with his faculties intact.
“He doesn’t need to fight any more, he can retire and have a lovely life.
“He’s doing himself an injustice by fighting again. There is only one fighter on the way up, and one on the way down.
“Dubois is a very dangerous fighter and he’s only getting better.”
