Priyanka Chopra is enjoying quality time with her family as she anticipates a serene 2024.
On Saturday, the actress shared a series of rare family photos on Instagram from their trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, alongside her husband, Nick Jonas, and their daughter Malti, who will turn 2 years old on January 15.
In the cover photo of the carousel, Chopra, 41, is seen kneeling in the sand next to Jonas, 31, with her arm around him. He looks at the camera while holding Malti, who is facing the other way.
Another charming photo captures the family of three relaxing on the beach at sunset, with Jonas beaming at Malti as she crawls toward him.
Additional images include Chopra cuddling their toddler, the loving parents posing for what appears to be a date night, and a sweet snapshot of Malti’s feet hanging above the floor as she sits at a table.
The “Love Again” star also included two videos in her post, the first of which showed her helping Malti stand between her legs as they stared out at the bright blue ocean together.
The carousel ended with a video of the famous family on a boat as Jonas helped their little one steer.
“Took some time to feed my soul. 2023 had me spent.. maybe I still am,” Chopra candidly captioned her post.
“Here’s to a 2024 highlighted by peace, respite, family, love, joy and community.”
“Hold your loved ones close. We are very lucky if we can. Happy new year ❤️🙏🏽.”
Chopra’s wish for a more relaxing year comes months after she admitted to People that parenthood can be “overwhelming” for her.
“I think when you put [kids] to bed, it’s extremely overwhelming because every single day you worry about what you can do wrong and what mistake you might make,” she explained.
“But you have to check yourself, and I check myself with my family.”
“I look at [my daughter’s] smile, and I’m like, ‘Okay, okay. I’m doing good so far,’” she added.
“It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done, but it’s extremely scary.”
Chopra and Jonas welcomed their bundle of joy via surrogate in January 2022 but they weren’t able to bring her home from the hospital until more than three months later because she had to receive care in the neonatal intensive care unit.
During a May 2022 interview on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Jonas called the arrival of his 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 girl “a magical season” in his and Chopra’s life.
“Also pretty wild, but it’s a blessing to have her home,” he further explained. “It’s been wonderful.”
