Britney Spears UNLEASHES on Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Weird’ VMAs Performance—WATCH Her Candid and SHOCKING Response!

Britney Spears Has Thoughts On Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Weird’ VMA Performance! WATCH! Britney Spears has something to say about Sabrina Carpenter’s performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards!

The 25-year-old singer paid tribute to the pop princess by performing numerous tracks from her new album, including Please Please Please, Taste, and Espresso, during the award event on Wednesday night. Sabrina used a clip from Britney’s “Oops! I Did It Again” monologue during the performance. She also discovered an astronaut onstage, identical to the popular song video. Oh, and don’t forget that she had a kiss with an extraterrestrial dancer!

Brit Brit knows all about a show-stopping kiss at the VMAs! Who can forget her three-way kiss with Madonna and Christina Aguilera while performing Like a Virgin in 2003?! So Sabrina followed in the footsteps of previous pop icons in this way! Check out the performance below:

Sabrina 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed it at the award show! But what does Britney think about the performance? Well, the Toxic artist thought it was “weird,” especially when she kissed the alien! What! Britney said in a video posted to Instagram on Thursday:

“Did you guys watch the VMAs? I didn’t watch the VMAs, but I did see stuff on my phone from YouTube of Sabrina Carpenter. Why is she kissing an alien on stage?”

Although she does “adore” and love Sabrina “to death,” she was just left so confused about why the Tall Girl actress chose to make out with an alien:

“I didn’t understand that part. Why didn’t she kiss a girl? That was weird. But I also thought that the whole thing was kind of weird altogether.”

Well, perhaps Sabrina can impress Britney more next time! Despite the criticisms, the Crossroads star had nothing but kind things to say about the musician from there! She continued:

“This Sabrina girl said my name on the red carpet and I thought that was kind of cool. I forget I’m famous sometimes. I’m a mom. . . I’m kind of old, but that was kind of cool. This Sabrina girl. . . Carpenter. . . Thanks! That’s cool! She made me cool!”

Even though Sabrina’s performance did not get the full stamp of approval from Brit, it sounds like she still gained a new fan! Watch the review (below):
