Russell Wilson praises Future’s work ethic at training camp: “Keep winning, son!”

Russell Wilson is praising his bonus son, Future, after the 10-year-old  helped out during training camp this past weekend.

“I’m full of Joy! Nothing better than seeing you smile! Our young growing boy becoming a young man. I am so proud of you Future! Helping as a ball boy for the @Steelers and working on your own & in the Locker Room. Being so dedicated to sports and everything you embark on! You are the sunshine of my life. I love you,” he wrote on Instagram.

He continued, “Keep Winning son! Proud Post! Cheers to you for being you! There is nothing you can’t do with Jesus on your side! Love you to Heaven & Back!

Over the weekend, Wilson brought his four children to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ NFL training camp, sharing the experience with his sons Future Zahir Wilburn, 10, and Win Harrison, 4, as well as his daughters Sienna Princess Wilson, 7, and Amora Princess Wilson, 8 months.

In an interview with Post-Gazette Sports, the Pittsburgh quarterback expressed how meaningful these moments are, recalling his own childhood memories of being around his fathe

He said, “I grew up when my dad played professional football for a short period of time. I got to see him when I was really young, be around NFL players and other athletes, and he was an agent at one point.”

“But this experience, you know, Future’s in the locker room with the guys, asking questions, getting work on the field, pre-practice, post-practice, getting to see some of the all-time greats doing their job—guys like T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, the receivers we have, and all the playmakers. For me to have four beautiful kids and have them all out here is truly special. These are the best days of my life,” he added.

Russell also noted that this is the most involved his children have been in his training camp activities.

“They’ve come to practice before, but the Steelers do a great job of allowing our families to be involved.”

“I mean, Future is waking up on his own, going to breakfast on his own, getting there early every day, staying late at night, wanting to do extra work. He wants extra hours. He’s learning how to work and do it the right way from the best organization, and just learning the process of it all.

Meanwhile, Ciara has been keeping busy herself, touring with Missy Elliott on the Out of This World Tour. She recently shared glimpses of her backstage life with her kids and husband, celebrating their time together amidst her hectic schedule.

She captioned the snaps, “Tour Family dump”.
