Tyson Fury’s Manager Drops Bombshell on Potential Anthony Joshua Showdown Amid Usyk Rematch Prep!

Tyson Fury’s manager provided an update on the probable fight between the former heavyweight champion and Anthony Joshua.

In May, Fury lost to Oleksandr Usyk via split decision in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking his first professional defeat.

Usyk became the first fighter in more than two decades to be crowned undisputed heavyweight champion.

Tyson Fury’s manager has issued an update on a potential fight against Anthony Joshua.

The pair are scheduled to rematch later this year, but undisputed status will no longer be available.

In May, Usyk was controversially stripped of the IBF championship, and the governing body elevated Daniel Dubois’ interim belt ahead of his fight with Joshua later this year.

In May, Fury faced Oleksandr Usyk and lost for the first time in his career.

With both boxers having lost to the Ukrainian, fans have once again begun to push for Joshua and Fury to face off in the ring, even if Fury is unable to take revenge this October.

However, Fury’s manager, Spencer Brown, vowed that the long-awaited fight would not take place unless Fury regained his victory.

‘I think that we need to get this one out the way,’ Brown told Sky Sports. ‘There’s no collision course if he doesn’t win the next fight. So it’s imperative he beats Usyk.

With the rematch fast approaching, Brown added that Fury is making adjustments to ensure that he gets his hand raised.

‘There’ll be changes, not in management or his team, there’ll be some other stuff that he’ll be looking at training-wise,’ he added.

‘With the closeness of the fight last time, it could have gone either way. Some people will say Usyk was three rounds in front, some people won’t, it’s your opinion on boxing – that’s why we love it.

Spencer Brown claimed it is ‘imperative’ that he defeats Usyk in the rematch if a bout with AJ is to happen.

‘But Tyson Fury will come back. He’ll fire, and we’ll see a new, improved Tyson Fury.

‘At his age, I’m not sure how much you can improve, but there was very little in the battle between them, so let’s back our British guy, and I’m confident he’ll win, and then we’ll speak about the next step.’
