Kim Kardashian almost outshone the bride at her £250 million wedding on Saturday evening.

Anant Ambani, the son of India’s richest man, married pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant in a star-studded event at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre. The TV celebrity was among the guests.

It takes some effort to upstage the bride when the wedding expense is an eye-watering £250 million, but Kim Kardashian almost did it on Saturday evening.

Kim, joined by her younger sister Khloé, wore a traditional bridal gown with a scarlet cape, reminiscent of Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine.

The 43-year-old reality TV actress completed her appearance with Lorraine Schwartz’s emerald green jewels, including rings, earrings, and an ornate headpiece.

Kim met several guests for the ceremony, including former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, his wife Carrie, and their children.

The spectacular, long-anticipated celebration is said to have cost over £250 million – not including the couple’s estimated £100 million collection of luxury wedding gifts and the attendance of several of the world’s most watched A-list celebrities.

More photos from the wedding show the bride dressed in a heavy cream and red Indian bridal gown known as a lengha, embellished with jewels and a beaded headdress, as she holds hands with her new husband, Anant.

The delighted groom was spotted looking down at his new wife while wearing a crimson beaded jacket, known as a nehru, as the couple married in a traditional Hindu ceremony.

Police stopped roads surrounding the location to accommodate one of India’s largest weddings.

Kim previously wore a traditional lehenga skirt with elaborate beaded embellishments, while sister Khloé looked stunning in a dramatic pink dress.

As Kim and Khloé, 40, prepared to fly to the wedding’s ‘divine blessings’ ceremony, the sisters were impossible to miss in their lavish attire.

On Friday, the sisters were observed participating in the pre-wedding festivities, with the SKIMS founder making a daring step by donning a bridal white ensemble ahead of the big day.

Kim uploaded a photo on Instagram of her wedding outfit, a white off-the-shoulder crop top and matching skirt, as she boarded a rickshaw with Khloé to the ceremony.

Kim had previously dazzled in a traditional lehenga skirt adorned with intricate beaded detailing , while sister Khloé stunned in a dramatic pink ensemble

Justin Bieber had previously performed at a pre-wedding party for guests, known as a ‘Sangeet’, and was paid a reported £7 million while according to sources, Adele, Drake or Lana Del Rey will provide the entertainment at a reception on Sunday evening.

The groom’s father, Mukesh Ambani, 67, is Forbes’ ninth richest man and worth £100 billion. He has already given the pair a £62 million magnificent villa on Palm Jumeriah in Dubai that covers 3,000 square feet, has ten bedrooms, and has its own private beach.

They also received a £500,000 Bentley Continental GTC Speed and a stunning collection of custom-made jewelry and clothing worth millions of pounds.

The groom’s mother, Nita, 60, gave her daughter-in-law a beautiful pearl and diamond necklace worth an estimated £10 million, one of hundreds of bespoke multi-million-pound items created for her.
