Julia Fox appeared to come out as a lesbian in a surprising social media post.

Fox, known for her striking presence in the fashion and entertainment worlds, as well as her past whirlwind romance with Kanye West, has once again sparked interest online.

The revelation began with a viral TikTok video by comedian Gracin, also known as @emgwaciedawgie.

Gracin playfully commented on the phenomenon of lesbians dating men, adding, “I love seeing a lesbian with her boyfriend.” It’s like, “Aw, you hate that man.” You literally loathe him.

Fox responded with her own TikTok video on July 8, expressing her personal affinity to the topic.

In the little clip, she exclaims, “Hey, that was me.” I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Um, it won’t happen again. Fans filled the comments section with expressions of support.

The original poster then labeled a follow-up post: “Did I Just Facilitate Julia Fox’s Coming Out?” “Ily queen.”

Fox has never shied away from publicizing her 𝓈ℯ𝓍uality. During an interview on the chat show Ziwe in 2022, she expressed an interest in dating women, which she appears to have pursued.

‘Like, maybe my ex-boyfriends were right when they called me a lesbian and complained that I never wanted to have 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with them,’ she reflected at the time.

Fox revealed she was celibate on Andy Cohen’s show.

Her candid reflections have continued to draw attention, particularly her decision to remain celibate for over two years in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the law that made abortion a federal right in the United States.

‘With the overturning of Roe v. Wade and our rights being stripped away from us, this is a way that I can take back the control,’ she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.

Given that Fox’s most high profile relationship was with Kanye West, its difficult not to take the TikTok as a subtle dig at him.

She was in a relationship with the rapper in early 2022 and their romance captured a ton of media attention despite only lasting a few weeks.

Despite the breakup, Fox remained in the public eye, often discussing her experiences and continuing her career in fashion and acting.

She also previously said that dating the rapper ‘left a sour taste in her mouth.’

Fox said: ‘Dating that man for a month—one month. That’s why I have such a sour taste in my mouth about dating anyone in this sphere because I don’t ever want to just be known as someone’s girlfriend.’

She told InStyle magazine, ‘I know I’m so much more than that, and I feel like it happens so lot to women in this field. They are only as good as their partner, or they can make a career out of being some guy’s partner, but in either case, it becomes their identity.

Before dating Kanye, Fox was married to pilot Peter Artemiev for two years, till 2020. In February 2021, she welcomed her son Valentino.
