Shocking Claim: Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua Branded ‘Two Losers’ by Former Champion!

The former world champion’s assertion will shock boxing fans.

THE long-awaited fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been sensationally dubbed a “TWO LOSERS” match.

For more than a decade, boxing fans all over the world have been waiting for a bout between the British duo.

Brit boxing fans still want to see Tyson Fury throw down with Anthony Joshua.

But their long-overdue Battle of Britain is a million miles away at this moment in time.

Former WBC super-middleweight champ Carl Froch has claimed the fight is a battle between “two losers”.

But the fight is seemingly a million miles away from ever happening following the pair’s respective losses to undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

A win for Fury in his December rematch with the former pound-for-pound king will further delay Saudi’s grand plans for him to finally do the dance with AJ.

But former two-time super-middleweight champion Carl Froch could care LESS about the Battle of Britain.

He told Lord Ping: “I’m not surprised Fury’s activated the rematch clause, where else can he go?

“Does anyone want to see Fury and Anthony Joshua – it’s two losers isn’t it?

“You’ve got two losers there fighting over second place.”

Froch would’ve been excited to watch Fury vs Joshua had the Gypsy King won last month’s historic Riyadh rumble with Usyk.

He said: “It would have been huge if Fury beat Usyk, but now it’s two losers in a rubber match.

“I’m not that excited about it, if Nottingham Forest are playing I’m watching that instead.”

“Fury should try and rectify the defeat to Usyk. I think he needs to rectify the loss if he’s going to be remembered as a top fighter of the era.

“To be remembered the best, he’s going to have to beat Usyk.”

Fury, 35, has gone on record with his desire to have back-to-back fights with Joshua after fulfilling his dream of becoming undisputed heavyweight champion.

And should he win his rematch and the subsequent trilogy fight with the Usyk, Froch has no doubt in his mind that he’ll do a number on AJ.

He said: “Fury-Usyk was a close fight, so I’d make Fury the favourite against AJ.

“What’s AJ done since losing to Andy Ruiz?

“He’s had comeback fights against opponents who didn’t want to be in there with him, he lost twice to Usyk and he beat Ngannou in an exhibition.

“AJ has been flattered by the low-level opposition he’s been fighting at.

“If Fury jumps in there with AJ now on the back of that performance, I’d make Fury the favourite.”

Fury, the former WBC champion, will face Usyk again on December 21 in Riyadh.

Joshua, for his part, is scheduled to fight interim IBF champion Daniel Dubois in a home bout in late September.
