Mustard and Friends Will Perform at Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” Show

Get ready for an absolutely electric performance of “Not Like Us,” because it looks like there’s a legend behind the boards.

“Not Like Us” will be met with an enthusiastic reception at Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth “Pop Out” performance in Los Angeles. In addition, a significant factor in this is that Mustard, an anticipated but still thrilling first-announced guest, has declared that he will be present at the performance at The Forum. We’re not sure if those who manage to attend the “Ken & Friends” event will make their attendance known in advance or if it will largely be a surprise. In any case, fans are eager to see this live and experience the intensity of the Drake feud that will be unleashed throughout the concert.

Additionally, there’s no need to worry if you’re not in Los Angeles because Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” event will be streamed live on Twitch and Amazon Prime. As a result, you can still see Mustard spin “Not Like Us,” and we imagine the song’s producer will be having a great time. It’s his most well-known collaboration to date, so it’s encouraging that he will be able to honor the song’s accomplishments on a particular holiday in his hometown. We can’t help but wonder who else will show up, our buddies.

Mustard Will “Pop Out” For Kendrick Lamar Show

In the meantime, Mustard has a few major announcements coming up shortly, such as the previously revealed release date of his upcoming album Faith Of A Mustard Seed. It’s been a huge year for him already, based on only one song, so it’s amazing to see this full-length comeback in such a big manner for 2024. All things considered, there are plenty of reasons to be enthusiastic about Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” tour. However, given the incredible run the West Coast has had over the last several months, some like ScHoolboy Q believe that this signifies something greater for the region this year.

“Heard it. sH*t go dumb. LA bout to do it again… LA up tHis year,” ScHoolboy Q tweeted about the new Mustard album, adding onto the hype around his own LP Blue Lips, the new Vince Staples album Dark Times, and so much more. Whether you’re K.Dot or another L.A. artist, you’ve got a lot to be proud of these days, and we’ll see how this continues to evolve throughout the year. Maybe this is going to really be the year of the West Coast when we look back at it. As long as we don’t start underrating all the other scenes, it’ll be a pretty fun time.
