Recently, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have been hot topics of discussion. This is partially due to their split, but it’s also related to their program, The Valley. Brittany is talking up about the many theories that have been floating around regarding why they broke up.
After meeting in 2018, Jax and Brittany became engaged the following year. Despite going through many ups and downs, they recently split up. Together, they are parents of one boy.
Recently, Brittany and Kristen Doute of Bravo’s The Daily Dish had a conversation. Brittany talked about her romance and breakup with Jax in the interview. Brittany attested to the lack of dishonesty.
She said, “We just had our issues with fighting with each other. There wasn’t any infidelity. I know that’s been a rumor going around. It wasn’t anything like that.”
Brittany goes on to say her son needing a happy home was part of the reason they are no longer together. “It was just not a happy feeling, and I was like, losing my sparkle a little bit. I started to notice that, and I think after I had my son, I woke up a little bit and it made me realize like he can’t grow up in this environment.”
Kristen then tells Brittany how proud she is of her and how she also deserves to be happy in whatever relationship she’s in.
As for why they broke up, Brittany says, “It just wore on me after nine years of dealing with a personality like that. We’re very different in a lot of ways, and he has grown in many ways as well.”
She then says he is a solid father but not a great husband.
Brittany also says there might be hope for the future. It should be noted that this interview was conducted before Jax was photographed out on a date with OnlyFans model Paige Woolen.
“He’s just not the best partner right now, and if, you know, if he works on some things, maybe in the future, we could get back together. “
She continues, “I’m not really sure about that situation yet, but for right now, the space is much needed for both of us. I’m just glad that I had the strength to finally take myself out of that situation ‘cause I didn’t think I would ever, ever, ever leave him.”
Brittany also recently appeared on the Sex Love & What Else Matters podcast and discussed her breakup with Jax and how she’s figuring things out. She said, “I’m trying to see how things are with us not being together.” The interviewer chimes in and asks if it’s to gauge how different things could be if they got back together, and Brittany says yes.
