‘Not Like Us’, A Drake diss by Kendrick Lamar, Inspires a viral tribute

A tribute to Kendrick Lamar’s instantly iconic Drake hate song “Not Like Us” went viral.

A dancer in a strip club is shown performing a flawless crip walk in a video that went viral online on Saturday, June 1. The music playing in the background is K.Dot’s most recent single.

Her moves obviously captivated the audience, as they applauded the performance.

The Compton rapper has benefited greatly from “Not Like Us”‘s success.

According to a recent report, Kendrick Lamar has nearly surpassed Drake in Spotify streaming statistics as a result of their recent multi-song feud.

Drizzy had a big lead early on with the J. Cole-assisted “First Person Shooter” back in the fall, according to metrics shared by HipHopNMore’s Navjosh via Chartmetric on May 31. However, K. Dot swiftly caught up to the streaming numbers with his appearance on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That” in March.

Both of the songs had received over 300 million plays, while Drake had a marginal advantage over Kendrick (309 million) at about 319 million.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” and Drake’s “Push Ups” were the following two exchanges. With 135.3 million streams, Kendrick was ahead on that one, while “Push Ups” had 93.7 million streams.

The following two, “Family Matters” and “Meet The Grahams,” were virtually tied at 50 million, but Kendrick Lamar was the clear winner with “Not Like Us,” which was produced by Mustard.

Drake’s last release, “The Heart Part 6,” is fully surpassed by him with over 217 million streams since it was released less than a month ago, despite the fact that Drake did not post the song on streaming platforms.

In the midst of the conflict, Drake also dropped the Kendrick Lamar diss track “Taylor Made Freestyle,” but he was forced to take it down from all platforms shortly after because the late rapper’s estate objected to the usage of AI to imitate him.

The song, which had artificial intelligence (AI) vocals by ‘Pac and Snoop Dogg, was formally taken down from Drake’s social media accounts after the rapper’s estate gave Drizzy 24 hours to delete the contentious “Dear Mama” song.

Even with his recent enormous success, King Kendrick appears to be keeping occupied.

Terrace Martin fueled the flames earlier this week by ostensibly revealing that he is creating new music with the MC.

“I’ve been locked in with Roddy Ricch creating something special./ The Navy album,” tweeted Martin.

After that, a fan asked for updates on K.Dot in a reply to the post, saying, “Sounds like a big W.” But who’s currently locked in with Dot?

Without providing too many specifics, the producer and multi-instrumentalist responded, quoting, “All of us.”
