Priyanka Chopra wears stunning saree as Nick Jonas dons traditional Indian attire for pals’ engagement party

It’s only eight weeks since he slipped a huge diamond ring onto her finger.

And Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra jetted to Italy‘s Lake Como this week to help friends Isha Ambani, 26, and Anand Piramal, 33, celebrate their engagement.

Priyanka shared a snap of herself and Nick in traditional Indian outfits by celebrity designer Manish Malhotra, 51, as they stood on a deck next to the lake.

The 33-year-old actress looked radiant in a light beige sari with intricate silver embroidery on a chiffon overlay.

Her dark tresses were styled in soft curls that cascaded over her shoulders, framing her beautifully made-up face that was finished off with dark red lipstick.

The 26-year-old singer looked dashing in a black bandhgala suit, with a long, thigh-length jacket and pants.

The snaps were first posted by the designer, Manish, who later deleted them.

Nick and Priyanka confirmed their engagement in August, after the pair jetted to the actress’ home country to take part in a Roka ceremony.

Nick explained what that was during an appearance on The Tonight Show earlier this month, saying:  ‘After we got engaged, we went to India, to Mumbai, and my parents came along. We did this beautiful Roka ceremony.

‘It’s a confirmation from both sides of the family that they approve of the engagement.

Stunning in scarlet: Priyanka and Nick attended the engagement party of friends Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta in Mumbai, India, on June 28.

‘There’s some beautiful prayers and a connection just for the family to have a chance to meet and hang out. It’s really incredible.

‘We both left that ceremony so full of joy,’ Nick dished. ‘For she and I, I think it was just nice to have that time with the family first. Have that private moment then be able to share with the world afterwards.’

They have yet to reveal when they will tie the knot.
