Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s highly-anticipated Netflix documentary had its first showing today and already many of the claims made in the tell-all show have been proven to be completely untrue

Six claims made in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix documentary have already been proven to be completely untrue.

The first three episodes of the six-part show, described by insiders as “utterly explosive”, began streaming at 8am today and many felt the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, stole the show with their appearances.

However, one commentator has said the Royal Family are sure to be breathing a “huge sigh of relief” as the series appears to be more of “a hit piece against the media than against the Royal Family.”

We have listed Harry and Meghan’s 14 key soundbites from the first episode of the show, as the pair promise to tell their “truth”.

And a body language expert Judi James has had her say on a scene from the show; Judi James observes an uncomfortable Prince appears to perform a “cut-off” gesture as Meghan performs an awkward and exaggerated curtsy as she recalls meeting the Queen for the first time.

Meanwhile, Prince William will be “furious” after footage from Princess Diana’s infamous Panorama interview with shamed BBC journalist Martin Bashir was shown in the new Netflix docuseries.

Six Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claims now proven to be completely untrue

Six claims by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have since been proven untrue, as the couple release their explosive Netflix documentary.

The first three episodes of the couple’s highly-anticipated six-part series, Meghan & Harry, landed on streaming giant Netflix on Thursday morning – and it’s already causing quite a stir.

But whilst in the first episode, Harry says: “No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth” half a dozen of the couple’s claims have been proven false.

One such claim was that Meghan didn’t know who ‘Prince Haz’ was before they met.

In first episode of the new docuseries, Meghan recalls the moment a pal informed her she was being eyed up by royalty.

When a mutual friend said that “Prince Haz” was interested in her and “dying to meet”, Meghan says she replied: “Who’s that?”

However, just minutes before in the same episode, Meghan and Harry are seen reacting to an old interview of hers from less than a year before they met.

During the chat, the interviewer asks Meghan to pick between Prince William and Prince Harry, to which she shrugs and pauses before eventually choosing her future husband.

Harry leans forward giggling while saying “sure”, as Meghan then asks the Netflix film maker what year the interview was.

When it’s revealed it was from October 2015, Harry says it was less than a year before they met, to which his apologetic wife replies: “Honey I’m sorry. Of course I choose you.”

Meghan Markle should have ‘read the script’ as expert questions her cold Kate Middleton claims

Meghan Markle should have ‘read the script’ a royal expert says as she questions her claims about a cold Kate Middleton.

In the newly released Netflix documentary ‘Harry and Meghan’ the Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 recalls meeting Kate and Prince William for the first time.

Speaking in episode two of the six-part special, she recalled meeting ‘Will and Kate’ for the first time when they came over to dinner and she was wearing ripped jeans and was barefoot’.

Meghan added: “I was a hugger. I’ve always been a hugger, I didn’t realise that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits. I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside.”

However, royal expert Ingrid Seward told The Mirror she finds it hard to believe Meghan’s claims about Kate.

Seward added that Meghan should have ‘read the script’ on the Royal Family before joining.

She told The Mirror: “The Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 said she found the ‘formality’ of being in the royal family ‘surprising.’

“Why would an intelligent woman – as she kept reminding us – not realise that the family of the man she is currently dating are a little more formal than the average Californian?

“They are the royal family with over a thousand years of history, ritual and formality are part of their existence.

“Meghan insinuated Harry’s brother and sister-in-law were surprised by her casual appearance. If Kate was startled, she would have been far too well-mannered to let on.”

Royals ‘breathing huge sigh of relief’ after Netflix release, expert claims

The Royal Family are sure to be breathing a ‘huge sigh of relief’ in the aftermath of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive Netflix release, an expert claimed. The first instalment of the Duke and Duchess’s long awaited documentary was released on the streaming giant this morning, with more episodes set to drop next week. But following the release, Go Up chief executive Edward Coram-James has said that The Firm will be relieved to have seen that the promotional material that was used previously now “appears to have been misleading”.

The reputation and crisis management expert explained that from the trailers, which came out just days ago, it was expected that the royal couple would be blasting the Royals, and not the media.

But throughout the couple seem more concerned with slamming the media and press, rather than overtly critiquing the Royal Family.
