As Priyanka Chopra celebrated Karwa Chauth while missing husband Nick Jonas, he reciprocated her feelings with a sweet post. Sharing a photo of the global star’s recent look from the Jio World Plaza after-party, he complimented her using the recent ‘just looking like a wow’ trend.

“So beautiful, so elegant… just looking like a wow,” he wrote on the post. In the picture, the actor is seen wearing an embellished neon green Sabyasachi saree, which she paired with a velvet blouse. She also wore a diamond set and kept her hair open. While Priyanka did not reply to his post, she shared a throwback photo of the couple chilling on a yacht.

“When anything is overwhelming … #myrock #throwback,” she wrote. In the photo, Nick sits on the edge while Priyanka lazes on the floor, keeping her head on his legs. The American singer reposted the Instagram story adding a heart emoji to the post.

Coming back to the viral dialogue, actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and even Wamiqa Gabbi jumped on the trend. While Deepika and Wamiqa posted on social media using the quirky line, Ranveer used it to compliment Nita Ambani when he walked the ramp at the Jio World Plaza opening.

In the wee hours of Thursday, shared a photo of the decorated sieve with a diya, while waiting for the moon to be seen. “Happy Karwa Chauth to everyone celebrating,” she wrote, adding a heart emoji and tagging Nick. In the next picture, she also informed fans of her departure from the city as she wrote, “Wil miss you Mumbai. Alvida meri jaan… see you soon.”

The actor, who is the chairperson of Jio MAMI Film Festival, attended the star-studded opening ceremony. However, she did not walk the ramp at the mall opening, which saw the likes of Karisma Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Athiya Shetty, Karan Johar, Shilpa Shetty and Shehnaaz Gill, among others.
