Jason Aldean has pushed his alleged lover to number 1.

The country singer was caught cheating on his wife in September 2012 with former “American Idol” cast member Brittany Kerr after they were spotted kissing at a bar. Now he’s officially dating her, Us Weekly confirms.

After Aldean’s wife Jessica Ussery filed for divorce, the country singer is said to have gotten serious with Kerr after once considering her his lover one drunken night.

“I drank too much, let the party get out of control and acted inappropriately at the bar,” he wrote on his Facebook page after video of him having 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with Kerr first emerged. “I left alone, took the bus to our next gig and that’s the end of the story.”

Aldean was said to have tried to mend ways with his ex after she found out about his cheating, but they were never able to completely get past it.

“This is a really tough time for my entire family,” he told Us in a statement at the time Ussery filed for divorce. “Jessica and I have been together since we were teenagers. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs over the years as we grew up together as a couple.”

They were married for nearly 12 years and have two daughters together.

“She will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children,” he added. “I know that we will both always make our daughters our No. 1 priority.”
