The fansign took place on April 5, 2025.They claimed to have been instructed to touch themselves more than necessary for a check for recording devices, with the staff allegedly making inappropriate comments as well. The fan posted a tweet to X (formerly Twitter) where they explained the situation.

At ZEROBASEONE’s fansign today, the staff said they were checking for recording devices and told me to feel my chest -> Then they told me again to touch the part where skin was sticking out above my bra -> I said, ‘That’s my breast though;;’

[staff]: ‘Yeah, that’s why you should feel it haha’ -> So I touched it again -> [staff]: ‘Try pinching it’-> ‘Haha, like this? No, just really touch it yourself’ -> ‘Feel under your chest too’ -> ‘Try jumping’ – OP

The fan also added that during the event, they were rushed more than usual and the staff yelled at the members to move along faster.

One more thing I’ll complain about: If you’re going to yell at each member to move on after 30 seconds, then don’t bother with a face-to-face meeting at all. And don’t rush into video calls after the meet-and-greet. LOL, like, ‘Hey, [name]! You know…’ and then yelling at me to move on…

Fans often sneak smart watches or small devices into their inner-wear to record their conversation with the artist resulting in staff including additional checks for such devices. However, this is not an excuse for 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual harassment taking place.
