Jisoo Caught in Online Storm After Hong Kong Event Delay – Fans Rally to Defend Her!

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo successfully held two “Light, Love, Action” fan meetings in Hong Kong. She also attended a pop-up event to promote her newly released solo album, AMORTAGE.

As soon as she arrived at Hysan Place, the event venue, she was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of fans. In return, Jisoo warmly interacted with them, waving and responding to their cheers. However, an unpleasant incident at the event quickly became a hot topic on social media.

In the middle of the crowd, a man was caught writing offensive and vulgar messages about Jisoo, intending to post them online. According to reports, he was angry that fans had to wait for 1.5 hours before seeing Jisoo. The man allegedly wrote on his Instagram story, tagging Jisoo’s official account:

“***, do you have no sense of time? You said you’d meet fans at 3 PM. *** It’s almost Qingming Festival (April 4), and you’re still not here. You’ve kept me and everyone else waiting for over 1.5 hours.”

After the image of his actions spread online, netizens were outraged by his behavior, criticizing him for his disrespect and unnecessary hostility toward Jisoo. Many argued that if he wanted to blame someone, it should be the event organizers, not Jisoo, who was simply a guest. Some even urged social media platforms to permanently ban his account due to his offensive remarks.

This guy is ridiculous. If he wants to blame someone, he should blame the event organizers, not Jisoo. And he even tagged her to insult her? His account should be reported and banned permanently!

He willingly waited there, yet he’s acting like it’s a big deal. He just wanted to show off his lack of manners by publicly tagging her.

What’s wrong with him? Waiting for 1.5 hours isn’t that bad. She’s a global superstar. He should be grateful he didn’t have to camp out overnight!

How is this Jisoo’s fault at all?

Many defended Jisoo, emphasizing that a star of her stature wouldn’t intentionally arrive late. They pointed out that delays at large-scale events are often due to scheduling and logistics beyond the artist’s control.
