Son Ye-jin might be one of Korea’s top actresses, but at the end of the day, she is just like any other mom putting her child first and finding happiness in the little moments. Through a recent video, fans got a rare glimpse into her daily life as a mother, and the internet can’t stop talking about it. In particularly, in a video for “Vogue Korea”, Son Ye-jin revealed some of her personal belongings and even shared a peek at her phone’s wallpaper an adorable photo of her son.
One of the first items she pulled out was bottled mineral water. Holding it, the actress explained, “This isn’t an ad, but as a mom, I wanted to find a water brand that’s free of microplastics for my child.” She went on to say that the eco-friendly bottle, made from sugarcane, makes her feel safer about giving it to her little one. Another must-have of Son Ye-jin is an aromatherapy stick, which she frequently applies it, even over makeup, and also uses it on her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢. Her nurturing side shone through as she smiled and said, “It’s really nice.”
However, the real highlight of the video is Son Ye-jin’s phone background. Holding up her device, she briefly showed a blurred image of her son, saying, “This is my 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢… TMI.” Fans couldn’t help but feel her immense love for her child.
It’s no surprise that Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin’s son has already captured hearts. Earlier this year, actress Uhm Ji-won, a close friend of the couple, raved about the child’s looks on “My Little Old Boy”, saying, “He’s not even my kid, but I want to brag about how handsome he is.”
Since tying the knot in March 2022 and welcoming their son that November, Son Ye-jin’s priorities have shifted. At the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival last year, she spoke candidly about motherhood, saying, “Anyone who’s experienced marriage and childbirth knows it’s a completely different world. Nearly two years into raising my child, I’ve come to appreciate the little things in life.”
