On March 18, Garosero Research Institute (HoverLab) released a video allegedly showing actors Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron dating at Kim Sae Ron‘s home. In the video, Kim Sae Ron can be seen using a massage device on her back while conversing with Kim Soo Hyun.
Garosero Research Institute stated that the release of the video was prompted by Kim Soo Hyun’s agency’s continued denial of past romantic involvement with Kim Sae Ron during her underage years.
Furthermore, Garosero Research Institute warned that if Kim Soo Hyun does not issue an apology to Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family, they will consult with the family and consider releasing additional videos that allegedly show Kim Soo Hyun’s face.
In the past, in 2018, Kim Soo Hyun asked Kim Sae Ron to delete their KakaoTalk chats and contact him through Telegram. The messages from Kim Sae Ron to Kim Soo Hyun’s phone were later released by Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family, challenging the denial from Kim Soo Hyun’s agency.
The messages, dated August 13, 2018, include statements such as “Are you really going to delete all our chats like this??” “This is a call,” and “Pick up.” One message also included the statement, “This is a call,” which Kim Sae Ron sent after Kim Soo Hyun asked her to switch to Telegram. The family claimed that these messages serve as evidence that Kim Soo Hyun’s agency’s statement denying that he dated Kim Sae Ron when she was underage is false.
