Following a recent exposé by Kim Se Ui of Garo Sero Institute, the late Kim Sae Ron‘s aunt that exposed the alleged relationship between Kim Sae Ron and actor Kim Soo Hyun.

In a phone conversation between the aunt and Kim Se Ui, it was revealed that Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun began dating in 2015 when Kim Sae Ron was 15 and Kim Soo Hyun was 27. Their relationship lasted for six years until 2021. In 2019, after Kim Soo Hyun established his own management company, GOLD MEDALIST, Kim Sae Ron chose to join him and did not renew her contract with her previous agency, YG Entertainment.

GOLD MEDALIST later paid ₩700 million KRW (approximately $483,000 USD) in compensational fees during Kim Sae Ron’s DUI accident. The aunt emphasized that the company did not require Kim Sae Ron to repay this amount. Later on, the company suddenly requested her to pay it back in 2024.

Although this was exposed only on March 10, 2025, a past comment from a netizen resurfaced from weeks prior to the expose. It seems like many were already in the know about their relationship.
