50 Cent Shuts Down Fake Shooting Rumors with a Laugh!

50 spoke out after rumors surfaced of him being shot in Hollywood, which turned out to not be true. 50 Cent is speaking out after false rumors ran rampant on social media of him being the victim of an alleged Hollywood shooting, which he deemed to be “fake news.”

“Don’t worry I’m gonna make it, because this is fake news,” he captioned the IG post on Sunday (March 9) with a screenshot of the viral TikTok citing TMZ as the source of the shooting news.

TMZ‘s website and social media accounts don’t show any signs of reporting on a shooting involving 50 Cent in recent days.

“Don’t they know shots don’t 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 you,” one person commented on his IG. “They should have come up with a different cause.

Another chimed in: “50 ain’t got no chill…. To post ya own fake news is diabolical.”

Many others attempted to draw a line from the refuted shooting claims to 50 being the victim of a shooting where he was hit with nine shots from point-blank range outside his grandmother’s Queens home in 2000 before his music career would take off.

The miracle survival and second change at life has long been part of 50’s rap lore as well as heavily connected to his discography with the G-Unit referencing the shooting on tracks like “Many Men” and “9 Shots.”

Thankfully, 50 Cent seems to still be in good spirits despite the bizarre claims going viral. As usual, it’s a busy time in the 50 universe, as Power Book III: Raising Kanan returned with season four kicking off in exhilarating fashion on March 7.
