The rapper, 36, cut a cheerful figure he posed up a storm in a slew of eye-catching and on trend looks for the fashion magazine, after receiving his not guilty verdict last month. The three-time Grammy nominee was acquitted of shooting former friend, Terell Ephron, known as A$AP Relli, during an altercation in Hollywood in 2021. And Rocky looked to be celebrating in style this week, as he modelled a bright red turtleneck and textured golden-brown trousers under a tailored camel coat.

The hitmaker grinned to show his gold grillz and sported aviator shades, while carrying a brown leather tote filled with white tulips. He then changed into a Cruella de Vil inspired look, sporting a cream trench coat with polka-dot lining, while holding onto the leashes of two Dalmatians with matching spotted fur.

The star – whose real name is Rakim Mayers – laughed as he was pulled along by the two adorable dogs and chatted to the crew, including world-renowned stylist Law Roach, who is famed for his work with Zendaya. Rocky’s joyous mood comes as he is still riding the high of his recent legal victory, after being cleared of two counts of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm following a three-week trial.The musician had faced two decades in prison for his alleged involvement in a 2021 dust-up with Relli, but was found not guilty after defense attorney-to-the-stars Joe Tacopina convinced jurors Rocky was the victim of an extortion plot.

His girlfriend Rihanna had drawn attention during her outings to the court to support her boyfriend, who she shares two children with: RZA, two, and Riot Rose, one.  In multiple outings, the music superstar was seated between Rocky’s mother Renee Black and sister Erika B. Mayers.  The Diamonds artist had brought their young children to the court for closing arguments in the felony case.  After the verdicts were read out, Rocky ran over and dived into Rihanna’s, who erupted in tears.

He later DailyMail.com in an exclusive statement: ‘I cannot express how relieved I am especially for our family. ‘Rihanna and I can get back to our lives and our kids without this trial hanging over our heads like it has been for the last three years.’ ‘Thanks y’all for saving my life,’ a jubilant Rocky had told the jury, composed of seven women and five men, as he left the courtroom. But he reserved his biggest praise for lawyer Joe, a veteran litigator whose celebrity client list reads like a who’s who of the rich and powerful. ‘Joe believed in me, always told me it would be alright and showed why he is considered the best trial lawyer in the country,’ gushed Rocky. He added: ‘Aside from Joe I need to thank God and this amazing jury.’ Rocky and Umbrella singer Rihanna reportedly pledged to name their next child A$AP Joe as a measure of their gratitude. ‘He could have been going to a state prison for upwards of a decade so he realizes this was a watershed moment in his life,’ Joe told DailyMail.com.

Next morning he was back in the studio working on his new album. ‘He’s got the Met Gala coming up that he’s co-hosting. He’s laser focused on the future.’ Rocky and Relli had been friends since they were teenagers while at high school, in a group called A$AP Mob that started in New York in 2005. But the more success Rocky enjoyed the more his childhood pal resented him, a downtown Los Angeles court heard.

By the time of the alleged shooting on November 6, 2021, ‘there was a lot of tension’ between the pair, prosecutors alleged. During the three-week trial, Relli testified that his former friend fired two shots at him from a handgun during a clash outside a Hollywood parking garage, grazing his knuckles. But Joe argued he was actually carrying a prop gun incapable of firing real bullets – and branded Relli an angry pathological liar’ who ‘committed perjury again and again and again and again’ during the trial.   He told the court: ‘This case is about one man’s jealousy, lies and greed, and that man is not Rocky. That man is Terell Ephron.’

Joe argued Rocky was carrying a prop gun incapable of firing real bullets – and branded Relli (pictured) an angry pathological liar’ who ‘committed perjury again and again and again and again’ during the trial  It was not immediately clear whether the verdict was reached because the jury believed he was carrying a prop gun, or that he acted in self-defence.  Jurors began their deliberations after three weeks of testimony and arguments and took about three hours to reach a unanimous decision.  They had been instructed by Judge Mark S Arnold they could find Rocky not guilty if they deemed he was acting in self-defence.  Rihanna took to Instagram Stories later that day to react to the acquittal with an uplifting message after the verdict was read out. ‘THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD AND GOD ALONE!’ the We Found Love artist said. ‘THANKFUL, HUMBLED BY HIS MERCY!’ Before going into the trial, Harlem-born Rocky had declined an offer from prosecutors of a six-month jail sentence and probation.  Under that offer, the rapper would have had to plead guilty to one count in the case, the AP reported.
