50 Cent is the latest to weigh in on Ye wearing a t-shirt with a Nazi swastika in public. Fif hopped on Instagram and posted a screenshot of Ye wearing the shirt and expressed confusion at why he’s doing it in the first place.
“I don’t understand why HELP ME understand!” wrote Fif.
Ye was spotted out in public in Los Angeles recently wearing a t-shirt with the hate symbol on it. In a video published by TMZ, Ye can be seen making sure that his shirt, and what was on it, was in full frame so the camera could capture the moment.
Soon after the video made its way around the internet, Ye hopped on X to write, “It was always a dream of mine to walk around with a swastika T on.”
The timing of Ye wearing the swastika shirt was definitely confusing considering just days before he declared himself not to be a Nazi. Ye posted on X, “After further reflection I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi.”
Of course, prior to that, Ye had been trying his hardest to prove to everyone that he was, in fact, a Nazi. In early February, he’d frequently posted tweets with flagrant uses of homophobic slurs and racist ideologies.
There’s also the matter that Ye is facing a lawsuit from a former Yeezy employee who has accused him of bullying his Jewish staff and praising Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
The woman who filed the suit claims that she was fired for standing up to Ye’s anti semitic rhetoric in the workplace. She claimed that Ye reached out to her and another Jewish employee in a group chat and told them, “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”
