Things are starting to get messier in the hellscape that is the Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness and Sutton Foster drama. This time, it appears that Jackman’s Deadpool & Wolverine costars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been dragged into the mix.Buckle up, because this one is a doozy!
ICYMI, rumours of a relationship between The Music Man co-stars have been bubbling for yonks, with many insiders chucking their two cents on whether the pair were together or not.
It’s gotten to a point where Foster and Jackman’s rumoured union have become the alleged cause of his split with his ex-wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, with Furness recently liking a TikTok that alleged the Broadway pair were having an affair behind her back.
In a messy turn of events, an inside source has revealed that Furness is “seething with rage” towards her ex’s costars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, claiming they knew that Jackman and Foster were in cahoots.
“They kept their lips sealed out of loyalty to Hugh. Despite their longtime relationship with Deb, they chose to cover for him,” the source told Radar Online.
“Now she is seething with rage over being the last to know about the clandestine affair. Deb feels blindsided. She has a memory like a steel trap and isn’t afraid to use it!”
The insider continued by claiming that Furness feels “cheated” by the Hollywood trio, and that the Greatest Showman star is now “bracing himself” for a legal battle.
“He’s bracing himself for a legal onslaught because it now seems that there was some crossover in his relationships with Sutton and Deborra. Things could get very ugly, and very expensive, very quickly,” another source told the publication.
Alongside that hot piece of goss, another insider alleged to OK! Magazine that the Jackman and Foster duo wants to “come out as a couple” following months upon months of a rumoured rendezvous and cheeky moments on and off set.
“They’ve been hiding their relationship from the outside world for so long, sneaking around, living apart, but there will come a time when they’ll want to come out as a couple,” the insider told the publication.
“Soon, they may start testing the waters.”
Despite Jackman and Foster’s flourishing romance, the insider added that he’s trying to avoid “negative publicity” and that he still has respect for his ex-wife.
“He doesn’t want the negative publicity,” they continued.
“Or to humiliate Deb. Hugh cares for Deb a great deal. She’s the mother of his children.”
Furness and Jackman announced their shocking split back in September 2023, following 27 years of marriage. In October 2024, Foster filed for divorce from her hubby of 10 years Ted Griffin.
With that info, the rumours of Jackman and Foster linking up have gotten to boiling point.
Furness has also seemingly chucked in her thoughts about their pair’s relationship in a cheeky social media move.

As rumours of an affair swirl amongst gossip threads, Furness seemingly confirmed a TikTok by Tasha Lustig where she claimed that Jackman had blindsided Furness with the split after he allegedly linked up with Foster during The Music Man revival.
Sources who claim to be in the industry also doubled down on Lutsig’s allegation, with one insider telling US Weekly that Furness “was blindsided” by their relationship.
“Deborra-lee was blindsided when she found out about the affair through the run of the show,” they said.
“It was apparently Broadway’s worst-kept secret, and Deborra-lee was the last to know.”
Another source, who claimed to be close to Sutton, said that Jackman and Sutton’s relationship is what caused his divorce from Furness.
“Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced,” a source said.
“A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap. They are really happy now.”
At the time of writing, neither Jackman nor Foster have publicly confirmed their relationship.
