You tell him, Ciara! The singer put her ex, Future, on blast after he slammed her for bringing their son Future Jr. around her boyfriend Russell Wilson. Well, Ciara had the perfect response to put him in place! After Ciara, 29, was criticized by Future, 31, for taking their son Future Jr., 1, to her boyfriend Russell Wilson’s, 26, Seattle Seahawks practice game on Aug. 1, the “One Two Step” singer accused her ex of a “double standard” — since she took care of his kids when they were together. “It’s been very interesting to hear what a lot of guys have had to say,” Ciara told Gayle King on Aug. 19’s CBS This Morning. “I feel like in a sense it’s a bit of a double standard because at one point in time when we were together, I took care of his kids as well.” Ciara does have a point! Future has four children with four different women, including Future Jr, and he seemed to be OK with Ciara spending time with them…just like Russell is doing.
“Wouldn’t you want someone to love on the child, and more than anything, it is a child we’re talking about,” she continued. “That’s the thing people have to think about—remove the adult from the situation. This is my child here and that’s serious.” Russell is absolutely adorable with Future Jr, which was apparent after they were bonding on camera, after he had signed an $87.6 million dollar with the Seahawks.
That’s when Future’s outburst happened. After the cute pics were shared on social media, the rapper took to Twitter and wrote, “never make a permanent decision over a temporary circumstance #umtoobossedup.” Even rapper T.I., 34, sided with Future. However, we think Ciara has a very valid comeback and hopefully it will make Future see Ciara’s side of things!
