Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are taking measures to ensure their relationship is strong amid their pregnancy news.
‘They are both thrilled and excited to be parents together,’ according to a source close to the couple — Megan, 38, and the music artist, 34.
‘The pregnancy is bringing them closer,’ the insider told Us Weekly.
Fox announced that she is expecting her first child with Kelly, born Colson Baker, in a shock Instagram post shared with her nearly 22 million followers this week.
‘Nothing is ever really lost,’ the Transformers actress captioned a photo featuring her burgeoning 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 bump.
The star, who last year revealed she suffered a miscarriage, added, ‘welcome back,’ including an angel 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 and red heart emoji.
A second black and white photo depicted the beauty, who shares three sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, holding a positive pregnancy test.
Another person told the outlet that their unborn child has put them ‘on a much better path in their relationship.’
‘They’ve always been rocky and had their ups and downs, but they have been proactive in therapy and very spiritual and honest with one another,’ it was added.
As for the Wild Boy hitmaker, he ‘has made some huge life changes to be the best partner and parent that he can be.’
MGK is already a father to 15-year-old daughter Casie while Megan is mom to Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, eight.
Meanwhile, Fox’s ex Brian, 51, shares son Kassius, 22, with ex Vanessa Marcil, 56, and two-year-old son Zane with fiancée Sharna Burgess, 39.
Burgess congratulated Megan by sharing her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 announcement via Instagram Stories and writing, ‘Welcome, little one. We are all so excited to meet you.’
A third source revealed to Us Weekly that the parents-to-be ‘are so happy and excited’ to add a member to their blended family.
‘They feel this is a new chapter for their relationship and a second chance,’ the person detailed. ‘They have gone through a lot together but feel a positive renewed energy and are in a good place right now.’
Just one year ago, Megan opened up about her pregnancy loss during a Good Morning America interview.
She said at the time: ‘I had never been through anything like that before in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart… trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?”
