Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, share two daughters: Olympia and 11-month-old Adira. Ohanian recently expressed his excitement about watching their younger daughter begin to explore her world. Speaking to PEOPLE in May, he noted how much fun it is to see Adira becoming more mobile.
“She’s able to have a lot more fun with her sister in terms of playing. You can already see the interactions between them,” Ohanian shared. He highlighted the significant age gap between the sisters, saying, “Olympia has a little bit of that maternal spirit. She’s like, ‘This is my đđđđ˘,’ and it’s great to see them together.”
He described their playful dynamic, mentioning, “They play and sort of wrestle and all that. We’re very lucky because Adira’s got a great personality and Olympia does too, plus she’s so excited to be a big sis.” Ohanian added that witnessing their interactions has been a “special kind of fun,” noting, “Adira’s getting more mobile and vocal, and it’s only going to get even more fun.”
In a lighthearted moment, he joked, “I guess at some point they’re going to fight over things, but for now, let me live in bliss.”
