Inside the Star-Studded 2024 Met Gala After Party Held at N.Y.C. Hotspot Casa Cipriani

The party doesn’t stop after the Met Gala!

 

Doja Cat, Serena Williams, Janelle Monáe, Rita Ora, Teyana Taylor and Guram Gvasalia helped host the buzziest post-Met Gala after party, Richie Akiva’s “The After” bash, held at New York City hotspot Casa Cipriani on Monday, May 6. This marked Akiva’s 10th annual edition of the star-studded affair, presented by Ray-Ban.

 

The celebrity guests were endless, featuring top-tier names including Cardi B, Offset, Lizzo, SZA, Lana Del Rey, Jaden Smith, Lil Nas X, Ray-Ban President Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio and fiancée, model-actress Jessica Serfaty.

Kaytranada, Zack Bia, Uncle Waffles, Chase B and Hank guest-deejayed throughout the fun-filled night as guests like Camila Cabello, Sam Smith and Leon Thomas III danced the night away.

 

Upon entry, guests were greeted with Sainte Marguerite en Provence Rosé and Perrier-Jouet Champagne. There was also a bevy of specialty cocktails, including a Malfy Italian Gin Negroni, Mumm Napa Sparkling Poppi Orange Spritzer and an Absolut Lemon Lime Poppi cocktail. Codigo Tequila and Perrier-Jouet champagne flowed as well throughout the night.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro Italian Beer was featured along with The Glenlivet as well. (Poppi, a popular prebiotic beverage brand, was the official soda sponsor for the evening and served out cans of its product line all night long.)

 

Later in the night, guests enjoyed treats from a candy station, vegan delights from Neat Burger and desserts like Casa Cipriani Gelato. Among other goodies, Ray-Ban provided their Ray-Ban Reverse sunglasses.

 

The good times and good vibes kept rolling until 5 a.m.

The 2024 Met Gala was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 6. The fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute has been happening annually since 1948.

 

For this year’s occasion, the theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth served as co-chairs of the event alongside longtime Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.
