Angel Reese Goes Viral With Batman Villain Costume

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has become famous not just for her stellar play on the basketball court but for her outfit game as well. However, to celebrate Halloween, Reese turned it up multiple notches with a wild transformation on Thursday night.

The former LSU Tigers star posted her latest costume on Instagram, and it is incredible, to say the least. She went all out with her ensemble, an amazing representation of the popular DC Comics and Batman villain, Poison Ivy.

Included in the transformation was a form-fitting suit covered in green leaves, creating a natural, vine-like appearance. Her entire body is painted green to match the plant-inspired theme, and she has long red hair, which is characteristic of Poison Ivy’s look.

“Don’t touch me I’M POISON!” Reese captioned her post with leaf and rose emojis.

Reese’s social media post became an instant internet sensation, receiving roughly 100,000 likes in just 30 minutes. Many fans and even some WNBA players were left impressed with the Poison Ivy fit, leaving their thoughts in the comment section.

“OOOOHHHHH YEEEESSSS,” said Dallas Wings forward Satou Sabally.

“ahhhh i love this!!” commented Wings center Kalani Brown.

“Killed this,” added Aerial Powers of the Atlanta Dream.

“Best Halloween costume I’ve seen this year,” chimed in a fan.

“omg yesss,” replied Reese’s former LSU teammate, Amani Bartlett.

“so cool omg,” wrote a sixth.

This is not the first time Reese has embraced a Batman villain. On June 16, when the Sky faced Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Reese donned a pair of Reebok sneakers that were based on arguably the most popular Batman villain, the Joker.

Halloween now marks two consecutive nights Reese has dazzled in the eyes of the public. On Wednesday night, she made an appearance at the Chicago Bulls 102-99 win over the Orlando Magic.
