Coco Gauff is turning heads this Halloween season with her latest transformation into the iconic horror character, Freddy Krueger. The young tennis star took to Instagram to showcase her spooky look, captioning one post, “Your worst nightmare,” and adding a cheeky “Boo” in another.

In a playful mood, Gauff also shared on her Instagram story, “When you’re bored and it’s October,” hinting at her love for the holiday. The 19-year-old athlete has always had a passion for Halloween, expressing her enthusiasm in a recent interview. “I’ve always been passionate about Halloween since I was a kid. I always loved to dress up. I would do it, like, year-round,” she said, reflecting on her long-standing love for costumes and creativity.

Gauff fondly recalled one of her favorite family Halloween costumes: a Scooby-Doo ensemble from a few years back. “I thought that was pretty cool,” she remarked. This year, however, she embraced a darker theme. “For me, I did like the moon — I don’t know. I think I did Thor a while ago, and Raven last year was really cool. Then Freddy Krueger was obviously last minute,” she explained.

Her Halloween spirit is infectious, and it seems she has inspired her brother too. “My brother wanted to be Chucky for Halloween. I said, We should all be fictional serial 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ers, and that’s what we did,” Gauff shared, showcasing the fun and playful nature of their Halloween celebrations.
