Cardi B announced that she will no longer be performing at One MusicFest on Saturday after being admitted to the hospital following a “medical emergency.”
The rapper posted on Instagram Wednesday, saying, “I’m very sorry to tell you that I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest because I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the past couple of days.”
Cardi B disclosed that she had a “medical emergency” on Wednesday and was admitted to the hospital.
“I truly wish I could be with my fans this weekend, and it breaks my heart that I won’t be able to.”
Due to her condition, the “WAP” rapper announced she would no longer be performing at ONE MusicFest on Saturday as originally planned.
The rapper from “Bongos” also thanked her followers for their “understanding” and assured them that she will “be back better and stronger soon.”
“Don’t be concerned. I love you everyone,” she concluded, captioning the photo, “Thank you for your understanding. I’ll see you shortly.
On Monday night, Cardi first revealed details about her health condition when she went live on Instagram from a hospital bed to denounce a phony caller who contacted child protective services and said her three kids were in danger.
“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there,” Cardi wrote.
The Grammy winner first gave fans a glimpse into her medical situation on Monday night when she went Live on Instagram from her hospital bed.
As she spoke to her audience via the video broadcast, she acknowledged that she was having trouble breathing. She said, “Motherf–kers have taken s–t too f–king far when you mess with my f–king kids.”
The Grammy winner was admitted to the hospital a month after giving birth to her third child with her estranged husband, Offset, with whom she is now divorcing.
Earlier this month, Cardi posted a video of herself talking about how she’s shedding weight everywhere on her body except her face, dispelling rumors that she had plastic surgery after her most recent pregnancy.
In the video stream, she admitted she couldn’t “even breathe.”
The news comes shortly after the singer shut down plastic surgery rumors following the birth of her and estranged husband Offset’s third 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 together.
In response to fans body-shaming her, Cardi B told them “to relax.”
“This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE,” she tweeted, sharing some recent photos of her wearing a nude black dress.
“My body looks exaggerated in the other video cause I have a 5X faja [girdle] on…I want yall to think wit yall brain ..Yall was just praising my body couple days ago …do yall think I went and got surgery in 2 days?”
