Explosive Feud: Carl Froch Shares Anthony Joshua’s Harsh Voice Note After ‘Pathetic’ Insult!

Carl Froch has disclosed details of a cruel voice voicemail made by Anthony Joshua during their ongoing public fight.

The former super-middleweight world champion has been embroiled in an ongoing spat with his fellow Brit, which threatened to explode after he called Joshua ‘pathetic’.

The statements were in response to what Froch described as a ‘barrage of abuse’ from the two-time world heavyweight champion via WhatsApp.

Carl Froch has disclosed the facts of the cruel voice note that Anthony Joshua sent him.

Joshua earlier referred to the 47-year-old as a ‘pr***’ in an interview before doubling down on his remarks in the message exchange.

Froch revealed a scathing audio message from his adversary during his YouTube broadcast.

Joshua says: ‘What’s happening? How’s your week going? How’s your podcast going?

‘Quick question – when you boxed Jean Pascal for your first world title in Nottingham, Tyson Fury actually made his pro debut on that card, you fought for a vacant title right?

‘So you didn’t beat a champion. What do you feel about that? Do you feel that you was [sic] regarded a champion because you fought for a vacant one?

‘So the title not being there, it would have just been a normal fight. But they threw a title in the air and you became champion.

‘You didn’t beat a champion, to become champion if you get what I mean.

‘Do you feel like that win is, not irrelevant, but it’s not highly regarded the same as if you was to have gone and beat a world champion? How do you feel about that fight with Jean Pascal?’

Froch fought Pascal for the vacant WBC super-middleweight title after fellow Brit Joe Calzaghe moved up a weight class to light-heavyweight.

He beat the Canadian by unanimous decision and went on to hold multiple titles in the division.

Froch previously claimed he had had a further ‘barrage of abuse’ from Joshua

He revealed some messages from what is presented as a WhatsApp spat between the two

Responding to Joshua’s accusations, Froch said: ‘Did I feel like world champion? I had the green and the gold belt.

‘When I woke up and saw the belt at the bottom of my bed in the morning, I felt like a world champion.

‘I know what he means. I didn’t beat the champion to become the champion. That’s probably why he conveniently didn’t ask about the IBF title.’

Despite the voicenote, the ex-super-middleweight world champion says he has been getting on better with his adversary of late and that the pair share a mutual ‘respect’, The Sun reports.

The latest phase of the pair’s spat comes after The Cobra called on ‘plastic gangster’ AJ to meet him face-to-face and deal with their feud ‘like men’, hinting at releasing more damning messages if he does not.

Their spat was ignited in public in June when Froch shared screenshots of messages from Joshua and branded him ’embarrassing’.

Joshua had previously described Froch as a ‘pr***’ in an interview before doubling down on that and sending him a video counting money, saying: ‘get on my level’.

‘I’ve shared 10 per cent of the messages. I mean, it’s schoolboy stuff,’ Froch told BestOnlinePokerSites.

‘I think he’ll be cringing to himself at that. I’ve shared it because, why should I be abused by somebody in this position and be called that name?’

Joshua has sizeable fish to fry in the coming months as he has a date pencielled in with Daniel Dubois – September 21, Wembley, for a shot at the vacant IBF world heavyweight title.

Joshua purportedly doubled down on calling Froch a ‘pr***’ in messages leaked by his rival

Joshua is rebuilding after a difficult period in form, but he has since won four fights in a row.

Joshua, a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, has been rebuilding his career following a difficult period.

Between 2019 and 2022, he lost three of his five fights, one to Andy Ruiz Jr. and two to Oleksandr Usyk.

However, since then, he has won four consecutive fights, including a quick knockout of Francis Ngannou in March in Saudi Arabia.
